Septic Pumping

Septic Pumping
Septic pumping is a process that is very commonly used to help clear up your septic tanks and essentially make more space in the tank for more waste. It is a great way to prevent your septic system from clogging up. Which, in turn, is one of the most feared situations by most septic system owners. It is used as part of most of our maintenance plans because of this. What we want to make sure that people understand though is that pumping your system is not always going to be the solution to the problem.

Best As A Preventive Measure

Pumping your septic system is without a doubt going to work best as a preventive measure. You need to pump the system before it clogs up and not after. That is one of the more common mistakes that people end up making. We recommend that you schedule your septic pumping services in advance. It is usually a great way to actually make sure that your system never overloads. You are going to be able to keep the system always a decent of level of capacity no matter how big or small your septic tank happens to be.

How Often Should My Tank Be Pumped?

We just mentioned that pre-scheduling these services is going to be the best thing that you can do. When then do we recommend that you do so? This is a question that is going to be a lot tougher to answer no doubt. It is going to depend on the size of the tank and the usage that it is getting. If you happen to have a tank that is smaller in size and is getting a lot of use you may need to pump it every three months to try and avoid problems. If you find yourself pumping your tank too often you may need to look into getting a bigger tank!

Is This a Quick Process?

A lot of times this particular service is made to look like something overly simple. While that is not necessarily wrong we don’t want to have speed over quality. Most of the times we are going to be taking around 20 to 30 minutes to pump your septic tank. As we have warned before the results can be deceiving. Sure, you are going to be able to flush the toilet basically right after we are done pumping the tank. That is not going to be your main goal though. We are looking for long term success.

Give Us A Call We Can Decide What The Best Plan Is

If you called in for us to pump your septic tank, but then we have a look and we believe that this is not going to be the best option at this particular time we can change the plan on the spot if need be. You don’t need to call in the right service every time. So don’t worry about making the wrong call when you give us a call!
